Should i make a move on my moms boyfriend?

ok there's more context in a thread i made like a week and a half ago, here: https://archived.moe/lgbt/thread/34175665/ .but tldr my mom treats him like shit and his ex-wife who he's financing also treats him like shit. i had lunch with him yesterday and i feel like there was some weird tension idk he said i looked nice and i complimented him back. It was way more awkward than it's ever been before but i think he had had an argument with my mom just before we went. he opened up to me about him being fed up but he didn't say anything about actually breaking up with her he just said he was getting tired of the same thing every time. does this mean i have a chance ? idk how to stop my feelings for him and if there's a chance i want to be able to pursue them but i might just be seeing what i want to see here.
