>let her vent to you and talk about her feelings
>display emotional intelligence and empathy
>show her that you care about her as a person
>as she gets more comfortable with you, be a shoulder to cry on and continue to do all of the above. most of them have never had that before and will be moved by your gesture and may develop feelings at this point
>show concern for her problems and comfort her when applicable
>treat her sweetly and with such a saccharine kindness the likes of which she's never seen before
>go out of your way to spend time with her and display interest in her interests
>if/when she expresses her feelings to you, treat her with love and show her that her being trans doesn't change the way you feel about her
>treat her like a cis woman and show her respect in all matters
>be patient with her in all matters, never pressure her especially about sex, respect her boundaries and encourage her to set them, and always ask permission no matter what
>squash her insecurities with kind words and gestures of love
>encourage her to value herself and build up her self confidence
>attend to her needs and wants in the same way that she would to you
>be supportive with regards to transition and things like surgeries, especially srs
>show your love to her with romantic gestures, large and small
and just like that she'll love you forever. it's really that easy.
